The guy who got a resurfaced hip with De Smet from Barcelona is Richie, and

so popular with surface hippys on this site. Before Richie's operation, the

great exodus for hip operations was to Treacy and McMinn in England who are

also top notch surgeons, and the ones who developed the BHR. In fact, the

reason I have a BHR from Mr. Treacy is because of all Richie's research and

sharing on this site.
