Guest guest
Calvin, it all depends on your insurance carrier. I live in L.A. and I got approved to either have it done in L.A. or I could get it done in Baltimore with Dr. Mont. It was up to me. Even though I work in L.A., my insurance is BCBS of Georgia and I had no problems. However, I have heard rumor that BCBS of CA is much less helpful. > Hi Everyone, > > Has anybody out there been approved by their med. insurance for the > resurf. from JRI in the Southern Ca. area? Guest guest
I was. JRI " coced " the procedure as a joint replacement, but disclosed that the device was experimental. I have AETNA through my wifes work (U.P.S.) So far it looks like the whole deal is only going to cost me $250.oo, my deductable for out of network service. Call JRI, or write, and speak with Chuck . He's a really nice guy, and knows the ins and outs of the insurance crud.
