Guest guest
Your brace does look great Rhea, it's a pity that it's needed at all! I hope it's not to uncomfortable! It's shocking that Ohip doesn't pay for the brace, it's a necessity!!! Jill
Guest guest
Rhea - if there is velcro on the straps. check about getting both sides with one side of velcro, that way the connecting strap can be the other " side " of the velcro and you can have several straps to change to when they get wet! Bonnie Re: My lovely back brace photos Hi Jill, I have to wear it for three months. It has to be on if I do anything other than lay flat in bed. And yes, it is waterproof :-) It's designed that way so you can have a shower. The only problem is that the straps take a while to dry, so if I were to go swimming I would have to lay down to put the suit on, put the brace on, go swimming, then find a bed again so I could lay down to take brace off to get the suit off, and somehow get the brace straps dry again. It could just work though! I see the brace guys at the end of the month and could ask them for suggestions. I " m sure I'll figure something out this summer :-) Take care Jill :-) (((HUGS))) -Rhea To learn more about EDS, visit our website: http://www.ehlersdanlos.ca
