What says goes for me as well. You never know which of the many chemicals caused her reaction and if they're in other products as well. She was lucky but considering how far you are from help, an epi-pen would be a necessity I would think. Mine goes with me everywhere I go.

granddaughter had bad allergic reaction

My 15 year old granddaughter, , has had a bad allergic reaction to hair conditioner. She didn't even use it--all she did was smell it. Her sinuses and eyes are swollen, she has hives on her face and her throat was swelling and affecting her breathing. I quickly gave her Benedryl and her throat and face swelling is finally going down. Whew!

She has allergies to other shampoos/conditioners but the reaction has never been this bad before. We are a half hour from help so events like this are very scary. 's mom and dad are both gone and I can't drive so I worry a lot.
