Hi everybody

Really very happy and lucky to find this group. I suffer from OA on

my left hip about 8 years ago. As usual, Doctor only advise THR. What

I think is that hip resurfacing is seldom do in Hong Kong; so lack of

experienced Doctor...I don't know isn't it right or wrong...I am now

39 yrs old...can anyone tell me what will be the cost for a

resurfacing surgery in UK or USA?...an suggestion Doctor in HK for

doing resurfacing?.....Thanks so much!!

You may want to consider Australia as well we are probably closer to you

that both UK or USA.

My insurance here covered most of the cost but I've heard it's around

$20,000 to $25,000 for the uninsured.

Note there are others in Australia also doing resurfacing.
