Hey Cait,…..nope, do not smoke. Quit in 1981. J I don’t know if my Dr. tested me for a zinc deficiency but I read if that is low then copper can build up.  I hope she calls me before the weekend, so I know what she’s thinking about all of this. Yes I am so relieved about not having celiac.  I’m going to up my D3 to 2000 IU’s, and hopefully that will bring it up more. I was tested for vit.K too and it came back okay.  I can’t tolerate fish oil. YUK!! Keep burping it up. E also doesn’t set well with me. I’ll let everyone know what I find out. Thanks for your input! It helps your body absorb the D and calcium supposedly. Just a thought but do you smoke? That raises copper levels. And big congrats about not having to worry about Celiacs :) ... hugs, Cait My test resultsHi, I had some blood work done last week to test for Celiac disease, and thankfully it came back negative. But my copper levels were way high. My Dr. is doing some research on why that may be. I have had slight elevations in my liver enzymes for years, but this is the first time that my copper was tested and came back high. Anyone knows what this might mean?Jackie
