Guest guest
Hi S. When your potassium level was all out of whack were you also fighting this cold and do you think it was related? My 17 yr. old dtr was fighting a virus and had episodes or arrhythmia and I am now thinking that perhaps her potassium was out of whack and might have been causing the arrhythmia. When she is fighting a virus or cold she will almost have a couple of nighttime episodes of sweating+++, waking with severe spinning vertigo causing restlessness and terrible gagging nausea with gastric distress. She saw Dr. Grubb in Jan.2004 and obtained the diagnosis of EDS Hypermobile Type with Marfans overlay. Please email me off list if you wish at bfhalkett @ simpatico.ca no space after Halkett and before simpatico. Thanks in advance, Bernie Still sick, bugs, no brace today Hi all! Still have my cold. Guest guest
I know I'm late in this conversation. But, my 17 year old got mono, was having palpitations, cold sweats, etc. and then we found out her potassium is low. She hasn't be dx'd with marfan's, but she has had her lung collapse 3 times, which is something that happens to people with marfans. She is tall and very thin. Sorta coincidental, I'd say, for someone who " Doesn't have anything wrong with her! " wouldn't you say?
