Just a little rambling email...

Odd. Mike's arriving tomorrow afternoon, because he happened to be in Texas

earlier than he expected. Up near Dallas. Now, my father has come to Dallas and

not bothered to come to Houston. Ouch.

I'm trying to clear enough space for Mike to work, realizing exactly how BIG

a project moving is going to be unless I gain some kind of control over all

this...stuff. Twenty years accumulated theater work for and me, the

contents of my mother's desk and quite a few personal effects (which my father

sent to me, bless his pointed head), including paintings, writings...all my

electronics, and musical instruments, I even have a mini-Moog sitting in the

dining

room. That's an antique now, I think.

Well, at least I tried to make the place presentable. It's ugly, and

moderately clean, but it's home. The cats are quite puzzled by the

rearrangements.

They're having fun -- a " complex " environment is the easiest way to increase a

cat's intelligence, BTW (mine are REALLY smart) -- still, all the leaping places

have changed.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I may be one of Mike's trials. Oh well.
