Guest guest
I am 60 years old and have not played as much tennis in the past few years because of my OA of my hip. After my 3rd visit to my Ortho, I am now on a waiting list of approx 18 months for the hip resurfacing. Am I taking chances of increasing the detioration of bone mass if I hit tennis balls (not play competively)? I sometimes have " flareups " that last a few days and then I am able to resume long walks fairly comfortably and move on the tennis court with limited running. Should I conserve the movements of my hip greatly? I am in Vancouver, Canada.
