Sue, Call the hospital and see if they accept your insurance. If they don't they

can tell you which one will. If you go tonight, and take documentation of your

meds, they should help you get through this. Every area has a hospital that

takes anybody, especially with insurance, I guess I don't understand why you

think they will turn you away. You need help, you need meds, You need IV's. Go!

No Dr/hospital will turn you down to go through withdrawal and the infection.

They could be sued. And they know it. Take what papers you have and Go!.

Ideas! HELP Someone! MEDICARE/MEDICAID

Hi guys,

Well, I am in Pa. Bucks COunty living with my Mom. I have medicare and

medical assistance. My problem is I can't find one DR to take me. I need a

primary

care as well as orthopedics. I was told to go to a hospital in Philly., Anyone

know anything about ford Hospital. I am just afraid they will send me

home IF i GO TO THE ER. The problem is I have METHRA (I think that's right)

osteomylitis of my ankle. As of tomorrow I also have no morphine left because

when

I followed up with my old PCP he reused to refill my meds because he doesn't

take my medicaid or medicare. So I have been on high doses of morphine IR and

10 mg percocet and need to find a way to get on IVantibiotics for my leg. Do

you think if I go to an ER they will help me or just kick me out. In NC I

could

only get help when my pins broke through the skin, and it abcessed and I

needed surgery at midnight on a friday night. Any ideas----please.
