Guest guest
My hypermobile osteo-arthritic hand/finger joints caused worsening pain, and affected proper function for several years, until I began seeing a hand surgeon two years ago. He's prescribed therapies by certified hand therapists who have made splints, taught exercises, and ways to manage the stiffness and pain, along with periodically evaluating the current needs for assistive devises. Since I began seeing him in 2003, I've had basilar thumb surgery on both thumbs/hands, and a fusion on the left thumb's middle joint. The right thumb's middle one is being fused next week. Along with the energy work I've learned from Mike, it's greatly improved how my hands and fingers feel and function. CindyH
