Yup. I bloated pre-op. Post-op it was pretty easy to take it off, since I

could finally use biug muscles (legs!!) to move me. Immediately after

surgery you aren't going to be doing much, but by the 6 month mark you will

notice a difference. A good idea is to set weekly mileage goals. Running 5

miles a day is a pretty intimidating idea, but walking 5 miles can be done

in a bit more than an hour (be brisk). The trick is to work in 5 - 10

minutes here and there throughout the day. This requires no special

considerations and indeed, your osteo will probably encourage you to do it.
