Guest guest
Listening to my husband play CounterStrike on his pc, and my 16 year old son offering him unwanted advice. Also playing hearts on my nook, since I can't concentrate well enough to read (been having that problem for a month now). A bit ago, was in the potty - the vent in that room goes straight up to the boys' rooms - and was listening to my 14 year old singing to himself while he cleaned his room. So what are YOU doing?Tina I thought it would be fun to ask each other WHAT ARE YOU DOING RIGHT NOW?hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Right now, I am checking email and replying to the question. I have been watching The X Files on Netflix and working on getting an abandoned building painting finished before the end of the month. Yesterday morning, sometime between 9 and 9:30, one of the service coordinators called me to see if I could sub with a client from 7 to 8 PM. I didn't tell Marcus that I had to work, otherwise, I think he would have helped me remember. But, at almost 11:30 PM, it hit me that I was supposed to go to work. So, I called the service coordinator and asked her if she had called me to see if I could sub. She said that she had and I told her that I forgot to go. She said not to worry, that the client would be okay. I've seen this client before, and there's really not a lot that he needs a care provider to do. I see him out and about during the day without a care provider in attendance. It's strange how my memory works. Guest guest
Just finished talking to Yogi, am checking emails and having a lot of moderating to do with another of my lists (a couple of the members seem to have gotten hacked so I am putting them on moderated status till they get it fixed) and listening to Robbin laughing in the other room at something on TV. I am watching hoarders on TV and thinking about making tacos for dinner. Guest guest
Mmmm, tacos. But we've had tacos too often lately, so hubby wants a break from them. I imagine I'll either be fixing quesadillas or pancakes tonight, depending on how I feel. Gotta save the pizzas in the freezer for Tuesday night, when kid #1 has band practice at 6 - which means he'll be eating dinner at 4:45 just to make sure he's done eating and ready to leave at 5:30. I don't begrudge him being in the Marching 100, but I'll be glad when October's over, meaning marching band season is over, so the family schedule won't be in such an uproar. Guest guest
Right now I am resting my weary back. We just had turkey breast, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes and cranberries. I watch for the turkey breast to be on sale under $1 in the summer and then make it when it cools down. I normally never use the dish washer but gave in today. We are here 7 yrs and I don't think I have used it 15 times if that much. Now I have to go clean the table etc. AFTER I sit for a few minutes. Guest guest
Cooking squash and baked potatoes for dinner. Also playing plants vs. zombies on the computer while attempting to avoid more housework. I will be making banana bread though since I smooshed the bananas already:) It is cold and rainy outside (temps in the mid 50's) so it is a baking type of day. Kay what are you doing right now? Guest guest
Sharon! You were SO missed! Everyone was quite worried and concerned for you and your family.Right now...I'm typing, lol. I just finished having an interview this morning at a day care center. It would be caring for 6 wk to 18 month old wee ones. I 'think' the woman liked me, although, most of my experience is with toddlers--2, 3, and 4 year olds. However, I did point out that I have 5 kids. The hrs would be 8:30 to 12:30, Monday to Friday. $10/hr. I think this would still allow me to keep my disability. Does anyone know how to deal with disability when one goes back to work?Tomorrow, for something completely different--I'm interviewing for a position in a pediatrician and adult doctors' office. I think phone work, filing, setting up appts, etc.Just this moment, this very moment, the architect who is going to do the drawing for our back porch called, and gave me the name and # of a woman who works at Affleck who is hiring. SO...I think I'm gonna be very confused about work. I do know that I don't want to lose my benefits.I have, for a variety of reasons, stopped my Copaxone injections. So, I have an entire 3 month + supply...I was thinking of trying the new oral med, but my neuro told me about all the possible dangers, etc. Additionally, you need to be observed for 8 continuous hours when you take your first dose. I just am unsure at this point what to do....love to all, and welcome home, Sharon,KateTo: Group <mserslife >Sent: Sunday, September 18, 2011 2:21 PMSubject: what are you doing right now?
