Do you happen to have any "Brags"

amino acids on hand? A little of that in a cop of hot water will

literally give you life. I actually have saved the lives of

several critters over the years, and take it myself when feeling

pooky...awesome stuff

Lemon-pepper chicken, sour-cream-and-feta mashed potatoes, fresh green beans

from our priest's garden, and pineapple pie if I get energetic enough

to " do " a crust, a bowl of peaches if not.

Akiba--that sounds so good! Corned beef is one of my favorites. We had quesadillas and bean burros for dinner. We had the really, really good flour tortillas from a little tortilla shop near Tucson. Yum! These flour tortillas are thin and lovely:) Along with it we had guacamole. We lucked out on some inexpensive avocados today. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Your dinner made me jealous. I've made that same meal many times. Tomorrow now I've been thinking about an omolette with fresh spinach and feta ..Yummm

Now you've got me thinking of all the meals I had growing up. We used to call chicken "Greek steak" we thought it was funny anyway...smile*

Now that it just me eating alone I hardly cook anymore. I had pasta salad with fresh corn and all kinds of other veggies. dressing for pasta salad is italian/greek with olive oil sent from Greece.

Now better get some rest been watching all the specials revoling around 9-11

Usually when I have a big lunch which for me was Nacho Cheese chulupa and mexi-tators, I have a small dinner. Tonight it was an English muffin toasted with deli turkey, and a side of peaches. My blood sugar has been high for the last few days and I’m not sure why. Even with having what I did for lunch I’ve had before and it doesn’t affect my b/s that much. So nothing has changed except maybe the hotter weather, and extra pain/inflammation? There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to why it spikes when it does especially if nothing I’ve done is different. I hate the thought of having to go on meds. Also I can take my readings from 3 different fingers and get 3 different numbers, what’s up with that?Oh well, everyone’s dinners sounded wonderful.Hugs Jackie p/s HI to all the newcomers! Jackie,

Chuck asked our dr about the different readings and he says it does make a

difference which finger you use. Chuck gets the lowest reading on his little

finger. Strange to say the least.
