He has no prior history of heart problems and it does not run in his family his pulse is palpated and is strong yet he is tachycardic at 101. Blood pressure is slightly elevated at 140/90 which he tells you is high for him he has no history of HTN. He has been hospitalized several times once for an upper GI bleed 7 years ago, once for a cervical spine injury which was repaired with disc replacement surgery, and he went to the ER several weeks ago for " almost passing out " in the grocery store. He has taken adderol and prevacid in the past. He describes this feeling as an anxious feeling in his chest and he gets " extremely tired&qu ot; after this episode. Feels the " Flutter " again and his respirations increase and he now has a " pain " in his chest EKG is Now tachy at 118 however rhythm is sinus with no ectopy an 12-lead remains unchanged after several mins the " flutter " subsides yet he now has tingling in his hands and the " anxious " feeling has returned.
