Heart sounds are normal Pt. tells you he has never seen a cardiologist for this

problem but he has had a stress test done in the past year for a work physical

and it all was normal. He also had full cardiac workup " afew weeks ago " when he

went to the ER and all was normal. He sees his PCP once every few months but has

not followed up with him since his last ER visit.

How about heart sounds? Has the patient ever seen a cardiologist?

No Wes not in this case. His respirations are now 24 LOC has not changed

however the " heavyness and tigling " in his arms and hands is getting is worse

and the " funny axious " feeling in his chest is not any better. A hint lies in

the days events that he has already told you!!

-Chris

Any chance of mitral valve prolapse?

Any suggestion of injury to the diaphragm during the GI surgery?

Does a forced exhale or cough cause sudden pain?
