How long does it take?

I believe I have made a good decision to get resurfaced.

How long does this process take?

If I saw the doctor and he said I was a suitable candidate for this

procedure tomorrow, how long do I have to wait before I can actually

get it done?

I have read messages where people have said 1 - 2 years wait. Is that

normal? There are also messages that say things like " C+ to be 7/21 " .

I am new to this site (3 weeks). I plan on having the procedure done

in the U.S.A.

It depends on the doctor. Some have longer waiting lists than others.

That's more typical in Canada (and the wait varies drastically from

province to province).

That indicates that someone is scheduled for surgery (with a

Conserve Plus) on July 21.

I think the wait list for most of the US docs is probably around 6-8

weeks. The big problem here is insurance. Some insurers don't pay for

resurfacing, some pay partially, and a few will actually pay for the

whole procedure. Many times they'll keep you waiting for weeks before

they make a decision.
