Hi! and a Conference wheelchair travel reminder

Hi! I've been quiet for a while..I'm trying to catch up on what's been

happening since March. We have had several family losses this spring, and my

Dad remarried at 80(to his high school sweetheart). graduated (yea!),

only one of the7 left is in high school now, and he graduates next

year(whew!). The college grads begin next spring 2005..

I made my reservations at the hotel some time back, and finally made my

flight plans. I'll be shuffelin' into Buffalo on Wednesday. I can't wait to

see those of you who will be attending, and will miss those who won't be

there.

I called to make my reservations with the shuttle service, and found that

they will be contracting out the service for those needing a lift van

(power chairs). As of this week, when I verified my reservation, they had

only heard from 3 people from the estimated list. If you will be needing to

use the shuttle services, please do give ITA a call in advance so they can

plan ahead. They are concerned that folks will call from the airport, or

only a day ahead thinking the vans are all lift equipped.
