Guest guest
Yo...Resurfers... Thanks for your interest and notes of encouragement. I didn't get most of them 'til today (Tuesday) because I left within minutes of posting Sunday morning's note ( " off to see the wizzard " ) and had been unplugged 'til I got back about 20 minutes ago. I caught the wave. The avuncular Dr. Amstutz checked my x-rays (they took a few more than the ones I'd brought0 to very specific side angles they'd need.) He checked my relative ROM, good hip to bad. Checked my medical history (which was quite up-to-date, since I'd waited to set an appt with him until I'd had my annual physical.) And he pronounced me an ideal candidate for resurfacing...based on a number of factors, including my health, physical condition...and the fact that bonestock is solid in all areas. Nikki has begun the insurance paperchase. My job from now until whenever it happens, is to maintain my physical condition as near to optimum as I can. That's going to be a little harder, since I can't play handball. But I've maintained the weightroom and Stairmaster schedule, so I should be okay. I'll provide occasional updates on my progress...and the paperchase. For reference, as it varies from carrier to carrier. I'm covered under a CIGNA PPO. Surf's up...
