Guest guest
hi Phil i am ok, still hobbling on, but at least i am on a waiting list hopefully for this year, and at least your gp is doing something for you.... again i reiterate, push push push,, be a bloody nuisance, after all that is what life is living as we do. keep us posted, it is important for other potential uk hippies to know how to get this op' on the nhs and not be fobbed off with inferior alternatives........didn't the uk develop and introduce resurfacing to the rest of the world.......... hey perhaps i am dreaming here! anyway best of luck jane xxx > Hello Jane: > > Thanks for you posting asking how Im getting on. Well the OS at Royal Devon and Exeter has finally written to my GP stating he does not endorse or do Resurfs. CIted no long term clinical studes and potential cancer from Metal ion leeching into tissues. My GP has now written to the Mid Devon Primary care trust requesting for funding for my Resurf to be done out of my area. > > Im writing to them independantly to make my case. So the weeks go by and im still not on a waiting list. > > How are you anyways. > > Thanks again for your posting and interest. > > Fond regards > > Phil > Phil - Devon UK > > > Hi just wondering how you are getting on > > jane - uk > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------- >
