Guest guest
Super Mike! I will bring my thing-a-de-bob that is just plugs in to any USB port and maybe I can take even more pictures. I only have 2 memory chips and would most likely use those up in a day. I have a site on Smug Mug that I can upload all my pix to and choose only the best to post to CEDA daily. How wonderful! OK I am jazzed now everyone who is not there will at least be able to *feel* like they are and see us here and there. Debbi Re: Anyone bringing a laptop PC (not Mac) to the conference? We will be traveling with a laptop, digital camera, digital software, and someone (Darlene) who knows how to operate all three. Guest guest
It normally runs about $100+ for the four cell phones for all of us. This time it was over $300. Mike! You need to change your plan. There are lots out there that would be much less for you I am sure. Some unlimited use and no toll charges. Debbi Re: Anyone bringing a laptop PC (not Mac) to the conference? Super Mike! Prior to getting the wireless connection kit to be able to use the cell phone to access email and internet for this trip, the main reason (99.9% at least) was for Darlene to be able to download pictures from the digital camera at the end of the day. And you are right - big savings in memory chips, especially when you take pictures in the quantity that she does. The only problems we have had so far have been really spotty service at times along the way in connecting to our home server, and a ghastly cell phone bill. Barb just got the bill a couple of days ago. It normally runs about $100+ for the four cell phones for all of us. This time it was over $300.
