Guest guest Posted August 3, 2004 Report Share Posted August 3, 2004 Just got off the phone with the repair guys at bilt here in Fort Lauderdale. Seems that the Winnebago factory screwed up and sent the wrong part. To make it worse, the factory doesn't have the right part in stock. Fortunately, bilt checked around and located the correct part someplace else. They were going to have it shipped by second day air, which would mean not being able to pick up the RV until sometime late Thursday afternoon. We told them to up it to overnight delivery and we would be more than happy to pay the extra freight. He was going to call on that right away, so hopefully the repairs should be done by close of business Wednesday. If we can get it back by Wednesday night, or even first thing Thursday morning, the last itinerary update should hold. If we can't get it back until late Thursday, then the Virginia stops might have to be adjusted by a day. Won't know on this until tomorrow.
