LOL, with my horrid hip I try my best to sleep in a solid, rational, slightly

upright position. However, in the morning I wake and find my heels sometimes

planted firmly beside my ears. The chiropractor is always laughing at my

idea of " standing straight " if I'm not looking into a mirror. What FEELS

perfectly upright to me usually turns out to be completely askew when she makes

me do

it in front of her mirrors!

Yes, I think you are absolutely right. Purely concentrating on movement is

a lot different than moving while doing a bunch of other things.

This is how I sleep, only I have one arm under my head and the other arm

curled up so my wrist is tucked under my chin.

Yup - same with my one wrist tucked under. I occassionaly wear wrist

splints at night when it's been bothersome just to keep me from tucking the

wrist under my chin.

I only do that when I have a headache or upset stomach, but I've done it

before.

Hi Barb: My 17 yr old dtr uses both these positions all the time,

though she can't get her knee quite up to her chin. How interesting!!

Doesn't seem so weird to me now, know others sleep similarly. Also has

restless legs and has given up the bottom sheet as she always gets

tangled in it.

I am not quite at the chin, but closer to my chest. If I bent my head down,

it would be at the chin, but I leave room between knee and chin to put my

arm.
