..Not much to share from here except I so wish I could sweat! It's so unbearably hot and humid.

I finally got a response from the insurance adjuster. They can't just replace the hardwood that is scratched but have to do the entire thing all over ((. I could take the money instead to use for something else but to me, the scratches are so noticeable I chose replacing it all. They're going to completely replace the kitchen window since the flashing,etc has been damaged.

As they have to replace the carpet going up the stairs and in the hallway upstairs, I've opted for the money instead. Oh and part of the backsplash needs to be replaced and if it doesn't match, the entire will be redone. I am not looking forward to moving stuff and having workers here AGAIN especially since I don't function on an 8 to 5 schedule. Noon is early enough for me!

And the burglar alarm is installed but at the side door rather than the front. It was easier because of the wiring but guess who can't find the keys to that door! Makes me wonder though because came in one morning (he has a key to the front) and set off the alarm. I slept right through it! Now that's probably going to have to moved because it's too close to the door "which isn't there" to the basement. It wasn't installed because I have to get the piano out first.

And that's about it except now I don't want to move into an apt! ... hugs, cait
