Guest guest
Well, the job itself is going ok, I suppose. And the hotel apartment where she stays is really nice (I have visited there once, will do so again when time etc. allows). It's in two floors, and the ceiling is very high (on both floors), large windows too, nicely furnished and decorated. And in nice location, close to a marina (well, that it was the area where the terror scare took place a couple of weeks ago is of course less nice, but I think that was a one-time thing). She does look forward to being done with it, though, and she is feeling very certain that she did the right decision in not accepting a long-term contract.Staying apart 4 days a week has it's downsides, especially evenings and nights, but I think we are coping pretty well (good thing it's just temporary, though). And it comes with some perks, kind of at least, too. We always try to make the evening when she comes back home a little special, going out for dinner or a drink etc (can't stay out that long, as her train doesn't come in until sometime around 8 pm. and it is a week night, but an hour or two is nice too). Visiting her in her hotel apartment was a bit weird, but kind of good too. Sort of like dating again, despite having lived together for soon to be 20 years... Weird. But good. Pxie is doing good, she has a group of imaginary friends, as kids her age tend to have. They are four, and I especially like the name of one of them. He is called Tuggum (the Swedish word for chewing gum is tuggummi, so I suppose, to translate it, his name is Chewing Gu, or something like that...). I did ask her whether all four of them are kids, or if someone/someones is more like a parent/parents, but I only got a funny look, so I suppose that was a stupid question... She did confide that Markus, one of the imaginary friends, had had the nerve to tell her that she was not the strongest girl in the world (her number one role model right now is Pippi Longstocking, the strongest girl in the world). What a crazy thing to say! The nerve! I told her to do what Pippi would do, and arm wrestle with him...love/Reb>> n: how is the car?
