Guest guest
PAtti That is good news. Good luck with the rest of your tests. Betty Tests, tests, and more tests!!!! > Hi all -- > > Thought I'd let everyone know how things are going. > > I saw my new GI doctor last week and things are looking up. The upper GI series showed everything normal except for a very serious case of reflux (which even tho I told him I had it, he wasn't convinced - LOL!!). The lab did lose one of my tests - for C-dificle; so I have to do that one again and am waiting for the results. He think I may have a bacteria problem in my small intestine, but is waiting for the C-dificle result as to which antibiotic I'll need. I am also keeping a food journal and descriptions of how my gut feels which we'll go over at my next appt in August. So far it seems that if I keep away from pasta (which of course I love) and sugar, I don't seem to have the diarrhea as much. Combined with the Lomotil, I have had actually had two or three days in a row without the " runs " . This is definitely looking good to me!!!!!!! > > Today I have my nuclear stress test and I think my cardiologist is going to give me another monitor to wear -- he says I have too many small symptoms, and where I get palpitations almost every day, he wants them recorded so he can make sure that nothing is going on. > > And I hope that is all the tests for the summer!! > > For those going to the conference, I hope you all have a great time (wish I could be there). > > Love, Patti > >

Guest guest
Thanks so much, Betty -- I do not have a C-dificle infection so I am very happy about that. (Got the news this afternoon). The stress test results were good and showed no major blockages (thank goodness!!!). But I guess he wants me to use a nitro patch because he thinks my small vessels in my heart are spasming (at least it's not a pill -- LOL!!!!). How are things with you - I know it has been rough lately, but I hope it's easing up some for you and your family. Take care, Patti Tests, tests, and more tests!!!! > Hi all -- > > Thought I'd let everyone know how things are going. > > I saw my new GI doctor last week and things are looking up.
