Yum! That sounds wonderful. I love applesauce with pork and wish I had some in the pantry this afternoon:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. My son is coming over and we are having pork roast that we cooked in the slow cooker yesterday. Steve picked up some potato salad and peas w/bacon and cheese in it. A side of applesauce cuts the richness of the pork. Good combo I hope! What's for dinner at your house? Most of you have probably already eaten but I''m in Arizona so it's earlier here:) I am cooking some boneless pork in olive oil, garlic and black pepper. I threw in a few potatoes with the pork. And I am cooking a skillet of baby lima beans sauteed in a bit of olive oil, seasoned with only a little salt and garlic. The aroma coming from the kitchen is delectable .... hence my fixation on "what's for dinner":) hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I’ve even put Agave syrup on it once, and it wasn’t half bad. Anything sweet to cut the richness, but the apple sauce is the best. I cooked apples in with it one time but they came out too mushy. I might try it again because it did give the roast a good flavor.
