Cheryl,

If it's any consolation, the thing that I was most scared of was having my

finger stuck for the blood draw. Not the draw itself, but the finger

stick! A friend came with me (as they suggested I not make the drive home

after having donated a pint) and she was laughing hysterically because I

kept yanking my hand away. I had horrid memories of having some big woman

in a white dress come after my poor little finger with a large dagger and

suck up more blood into a tube than could possibly be good for me! After

that turned out to be nothing, there wasn't anything else that came up to

compare to it!

How funny! I could cope with having blood taken all day long!!! I

find it fascinating!!! Just came back from pre op assessment today

and made the nurse do a ecg test just to be sure my heart could take

the strain. Even though I did'nt need one because I was low risk.

She thought I was completely mad! Thanks for making me smile. Cheryl
