UWO LAUNCHES $1.5M ARTHRITIS STUDY

A groundbreaking study that will focus on the painful symptoms of arthritis

was announced yesterday at the University of Western Ontario. The study,

made possible by a $1.5-million grant from the Canadian Arthritis Network

and the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis, will attempt to

go where researchers say too few have gone before -- focus on the

debilitating symptoms of osteoarthritis (OA) rather than the disease itself.
