My daughter takes a prescription daily (Pepcid I think) for Gerd. It began with her about a year or so ago. My Mom had the operation Darlene had and does fairly well with it. My Dad and I both have Gerd on occasion, my Dad moreso than me, but as you can tell, we all have it to some degree. Some nights, depending on what and how much I eat, and how often, I live on Pepcid. Is there any way at all you could have Darlene or Barb demonstrate this a little bit and send me a picture? Like of where to put your hands, etc. My daughter will get it as she's a nurse; but for Mom and Dad and Me, well....let's just say we're NOT medical personnel! LOL! I'm sorry to be such a pain, and I'll certainly understand if you don't have time to do that - I can learn it from you this summer. It was just a thought. If you do take or draw a picture, you can just send it to me at EDSLana@.... I think what I can't 'see' the most is this part: > Now, with your thumb in that position, bend forward slightly (maybe > 5-10 degrees) at that point and press in with your thumb using > medium-firm pressure. Anything you can do to clarify this would help us a great deal! Thanks so much Mike! Love Lana

But as you can imagine, we've got a bunch of stuff to get done in just four days (catching up on bills, packing, trying to figure out a more detailed big trip itinerary, etc.) so I can't guarantee anything. If we don't get any pictures posted, I will definitely do a treatment on you this summer, probably well before the conference. As info, tentative first leg of the itinerary is to leave Seattle and drive down thru southern Idaho and over to Salt Lake City for the first main stop. My niece was rear-ended about a month ago and is having serious neck and back problems. I talked to her on the phone while we were on the trip and set it up to stop by and work on her as soon as possible on the trip. Because of your work schedule, I am trying to time it so we hit Omaha either the evening of Friday the 25th of June or sometime Saturday the 26th. In other words, so we would be in Omaha on the weekend. Let me know if that works for you.
