They told me about 10 days ago that the " predetermination request was in final review " and I should have an answer in three to five days. Even figuring the holidays and week-end days, we've passed that window. I'll be back on the phone today to JRI and CIGNA. But I've also made provisions to have my original x-rays digitized...so I could e-mail them to Dr. de Smet. I'll fire them off as soon as I hear a discouraging word from CIGNA. If I'm denied, I'll certain have JRI appeal, because appeals have worked in the past...but I'll also start the Belgium process so I have a ready fall-back position. You say you got " new " x-rays... are the previous ones that old? Or did he ask for specific pictures? Hobble on, Hippy...
