Guest guest
That is just fantastic, -lou! I'm hoping to do a marathon before departing from this mortal coil, but have not yet got around to entering one. You're just the inspiration I needed! Guest guest
Excellent! >hi everyone > >just a short note to tell you all that I have made such a huge >achievement and ran the 10 k great manchester run on sunday. Don't think that for a minute. Most folks (those that haven't had hip trouble) would probably shrug this off, but for those of us who've been there, this seems so much more than we could have ever hoped for, we are afraid it is bragging. Really though, sometimes you just are so proud of yourself you have to share and that's fine. After all, it's not where you are, but how far you travelled to get there that's the point, isn't it? Oh, and I like to remember the words of one famous baseball player: " It ain't bragging if you can do it. " > Congrats!
