, please wait. I do hope you see this before you call the hotel. I

know for sure that many, many people were locked out of the hotel & booked

rooms

at other nearby hotels & others that are still looking. We will miss you

terribly at the conference & I do hope that we will be able to have you join us

at one again soon.

BUT, you have until before the day of your registration, I believe, to cancel

your reservation. And if you just cancel, it will go into the hotel

" pool " & the chances of one of the group getting it at the discounted price

is pobably going to be gone!!!!!!!

On the assumption that you made your reservartion at the $99 rate, I doubt

that, even if one of the group got the room, that they would honor the room

rate. So, perhaps if you caould hang on a couple of days, we could somehow

manage to make the switch to someone in the group that has been trying to get

into

the hotel.

Oh, PLEEEEEEZE wait, if you can. It shouldn't cost you a nickel. Can you

just hang on to see what we can do, you would probably be giving the greatest

gift imaginable to someone.

Just so that we know. Can you tell me what dates you were registered for?

How many nights? Which nights? And, were you listed as the only person in the

room & how many were you? And what name is the room under? Just maybe we

could add someone else's name to your room & then later on, have that person

just pay the tab. BUT, I think with most hotels, if you just cancel, it's gone

&

we'll never get it, as the hotel has been sold out forever.

I know one gal that just tried to add a night to her reservation @ 3 days aga

& even though she had $99/night all the other nights, she wanted to add on a

day that is within our dates, but because it was late, they wanted to charge

her something like $145/night. And that's a discount, but still crazy, so

we'll handle it within the group. Some had their own room's & are now sharing

so

we can get more of us into the hotel.

I hope you see this before you cancel it.

Anyway, we'll miss you & hope all is well & that we'll see you soon, but it

would be so great for someone if you could get that room to someone else.

They'd likely be forever grateful to you.
