Guest guest
, I'm not sure which your msg was meant for but I'll answer in case it was for me. I do not have chronic panc (or so they say) I have recurring acute panc. I was doing absolutely wonderful with my health and energy level at the highest I can remember when I was hit in mid-july with acute panc. I've been in the hospital six times since then and haven't fully recovered. I'm seeing a GI surgeon who specializes in biliary surgery on Oct 21st. For now I mostly take lortab 5 and phenergan for my pain and nausea. I have both 25 mg phenergan tablets and suppositories. I was taking Lortab 10 at first but now I mostly stick with the lortab 5, although sometimes I do need two to keep the pain at bay. I also have some mepergan capsules which are demerol and phenergan together. I'm not sure what the mg amount of each is. I don't have many of those left and the doctor told me he cannot call in demerol over the phone so I'm saving them in case I have a really bad attack. W. Re: chicken What do you take for pain and nausea on a daily basis and the dosages please? I need this info for my doctor. from Canada
Guest guest
, I am confused and I am sure you can straighten me out! As you know, I had a roux-en-y gastric bypass in December for weight loss. I also had it because I had gastric bile reflux. The bile was refluxing back into my stomach from the intestines and causing the stomach wall to stay inflamed. How is it that the rny gastric bypass helps with pancreatitis? I guess however it helps, that was not the cause of my pancreatitis since I've now started back having attacks. I do think the gastric byass helped the pancreas in that you mostly eat small, low fat, healthy meals after the surgery. It's so much easier to stay away from the foods that are not good for the panc when you have a tiny stomach and don't get all that hungry! My family Doctor and he is also my friend treats me as an out paitent when the pain is bad and gives me the demerol via injection. That works but it kind of tyes me to the Doctors office fortunately it is close to my home from Canada

Guest guest
, Have they been able to tell which additives in particular are the ones you have an allergic reaction to? At least you get to stay home when the pain is bad. The hospital always makes me feel like I've been forgotten by everyone and I feel so alone in there. Not fun feelings. When I get a bac attack, I go to the ER and so far, they've admitted me with no problems. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
, is definitely in my prayers. W I just got an e-mail from (Nobles) mom that she is in ICU and on a ventilator. I knew she had pneumonia. She had also developed sepsis from a porta cath. The pneumonia is now in both lungs, her mom says she is improving. She lives about 2 hours from me and I am going to try to go check on her today ( It's 1:55AM EST). Please pray for her and I'll let you know if I am able to go. Guest guest
Hey , Could you get what hospital is in...Jackie and I would like to send her a card. Jackie talks to a little bit when they both are feeling like being on the computer so Jackie wants to send her a cheerful greeting. Guest guest
, if you see again, tell her she's got my prayers too and that I hope she gets better soon. I didn't know she had pneumonia and sepsis. I had sent an email to her about a week ago and got no answer so I was starting to worry about her. Thank you very much on the update on her.
