Guest guest
We are having a continuing problem with coyotes. One woke me in the early hours before dawn this morning with the strangest yips/howls. It was right on the road out front. It was yipping a lot then the yipping turned to howling. The howling turned into the strangest sound I have ever heard from a coyote! It sounded like a baby calf. How odd. I got my flashlight and stepped out on the front porch and that scared it off.We are also having problems with a bobcat. We have seen the tracks and knew it looked like bobcat tracks. This evening a neighbor down the road said he saw a very large bobcat in his yard last night. One of our cats got outside several days ago and never came back. We don't know what got her--it could have been the lone large coyote that is terrorizing the area, the large hawk that we have spotted or an owl. Poor kitty. She was 9 years old and lived through Alaska and the many eagles, wolves and bears--then something here gets her. Her name was "Pistol" and her owner was . He named her when he was a little boy smitten with cowboys and their pistols:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
