Donna, how often do you work? What is the job exactly? It sounds interesting. Please be sure to send a pic of the new painting when it's finished. I always love to see your art work!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Right now, I am checking email and replying to the question. I have been watching The X Files on Netflix and working on getting an abandoned building painting finished before the end of the month. Yesterday morning, sometime between 9 and 9:30, one of the service coordinators called me to see if I could sub with a client from 7 to 8 PM. I didn't tell Marcus that I had to work, otherwise, I think he would have helped me remember. But, at almost 11:30 PM, it hit me that I was supposed to go to work. So, I called the service coordinator and asked her if she had called me to see if I could sub. She said that she had and I told her that I forgot to go. She said not to worry, that the client would be okay. I've seen this client before, and there's really not a lot that he needs a care provider to

do. I see him out and about during the day without a care provider in attendance. It's strange how my memory works. Donna in WASubject: what are you doing right now?To: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Sunday, September 18, 2011, 11:21 AM

Sharon, I work as a home care provider. It's not quite the same thing as a home health aide. The clients that I sub with are limited to those that do not require a lot of tasks to be completed. In the past, I have had scheduled hours; but, now my fatigue gets in the way of have scheduled clients. So, I just sub. Every now and then the union requires us to keep the company informed about our availability to serve clients. I just write that I am available to sub up to 4 hours a week. Back in June, I worked 4 hours during the whole month. Still, it is my option to say I can't work, if I am called to sub. Which is probably what I should have done yesterday. I don't know why I forgot to go to work. Sometimes the service coordinator will call me as much as a week ahead of

when I am needed to sub and I don't forget. Donna in WASubject: what are you doing right now?To: "Group" <mserslife >Date: Sunday, September 18, 2011, 11:21 AM
