Guest guest
The little white kitty can hear. She/he came out when I called it. Unless it just sensed the vibration of me walking? We have 8 indoor cats now and son and dil are dead-set against any more! My granddaughter says she wants to tame it up and ask a local pet rescue to find it a good, indoor home. She doesn't want it to be an outside kitty--too many barn cats become missing here.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. I was dying a slow and very painfuldeath:) Then the afternoon monsoon rolled in dumping a lot of rain to cooloff the weather. The rain was wonderful! But the LIGHTENING wasferocious. It was hitting all around us and I thought it hit the barn butnothing caught fire, thankfully. Two of the dogs, Shiloh and Puddin', aredeathly afraid of thunder so they required comfort from gramma:) I cooked a chicken breast in olive oil and garlic last night. I threw insome green peppers and onions to saute with it. It made a perfect dinner. This morning I had my usual yogurt and granola. I fed the poultry this morning and checked on the little orphan kitten. It’s doing good and is SO cute! White fluffy fur and pretty blue eyes. All is well in my world. I have been reading and did some dishes thismorning. Otherwise I am leading a quiet life which makes for a very happylittle vacation for me.hugsSharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Good girl! Our " barn " cats have made a communal nursery under the little old claim house in back of OUR house, and it appears there's about 100 kittens there (not really, just seems like!) Himself is trying to " humanize " them so they can go to new homes instead of becoming owl/eagle/stray dog food... He fusses and fusses about the old tom cat that's " moved in " , but I keep telling him if he wants to not have so many kitties, he needs to be rid of the MAMA cats, not the old tom... Guest guest
Sharon, is it a stray or is it totally feral? I know shelters won't take feral cats, most of them won't anyway. But feral cats, even young ones, can be dangerous. When I worked at legal aid, one of our attorneys started feeding a pregnant stray cat. Well, within a couple of years, pregnant stray cat turned into 24 feral cats. We had a heck of a time finding some place that would take them, and we had to trap them ourselves. And all because the soft hearted attorney couldn't bear to see a pregnant kitty hungry. She knew where to come for a good meal, and so did her kittens, and their kittens.
