Guest guest
The doctor's office is at the Hospital Medical Center for Advanced Medicine (basically, the medical building for the north campus), which is about 25 miles away, but takes about 45 minutes to get there. Then you add in the parking hassle, and checking in, that's another 15 minutes right there. She said to expect to spend close to three hours at the infusion center, because they don't order the drug from the pharmacy in the building until they know they can infuse you - so after you've gone through all the questioning by the infusion nurse. If we can get it at our local hospital, it's literally five minutes from my house, and hubby would likely just drop me off and pick me up - so it's more workable with our one car family, too. Tina Good news on the MRI results, Tina! I hope you'll be able to change to a closer infusion site. How far is the doc's building? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
