Hello,

First thing is that everyone is different. In my own case I started

working from home after about two weeks, then was back at the office

(part-time) after about four weeks and full-time after six.

The bone pain was gone immediately, though replaced by soreness from

the operation. This was uncomfortable, especially not being allowed

to sleep on my side for six weeks.

However, after two or three days, I was only taking pain-killers at

night and discontinued those after a few more days - it's a long time

ago now, so things get a bit hazy.

All in all, the operation and recovery was much easier than I

anticipated and it has certainly been worth it.
