Guest guest
> Dr. Amstutz is the best. I couldn't have put it better. In my case (due to my little renal problem), he did an enormous amount of homework on nephrology and toxicology (consulting not only my nephrologust, who was quite gung-ho on the whole idea of resurfacing, but two independent nephrologists) as well as surgeons in Europe who had resurf-ed patients with severe kidney problems (much worse than mine). We must've had 3 or 4 *long* phone consultations, and he was always extremely generous with his time and expertise. Oh, and (for the first time in years) MY HIPS DON'T HURT!!! Guest guest
I agree. People have a tendency to complain about a bad experience but say nothing when good things happen. I am 3 1/2 years post-op with a Conserve+ surface replacement (left hip). My experience with JRI, and Dr. Amstutz in particular, was great. I feel Dr. Amstutz gave me my life back. I am only 37 y.o. and was fairly active before my hip started getting bad. Now I am 3 1/2 years post-op and I can hardly remember that I had my hip replaced. When I go back once a year it's always great to get to talk to Dr. Amstutz for a few minutes and try to get a little info about how the trial is going. So put me in the positive column also! Talk to you later, Darrin Pampaian dpampaian@... JRI - My Perspective and Experience

If not, please add your success story to the database so we all have a feel for success stories after resurfacing.
