Hi Lana and I'm confused as well, well what I can understand is yes it is an ulcer on the cornea, but could have happened to either eye, luckily for me they say it happened to the lazy eye! I, like your goodself, don't know what it has to do with EDS and neither do they ..... new appointment come through, am to see one of the main consultants this Friday at 10am so my mother-in-law has kindly agreed to take me. I don't know when it will go away? I gather it can reoccur, but its drops now (steriod and other) every hour on the hour and it doesn't half sting. So the Transit of Venus (the first one since 1882) on Tuesday is going to be a right pain for me. My dear EDS friends, I am a bit, well definitely, petrified for Friday... I've to see the consultant by myself... I usually/well always, have difficulty speaking to people, and most people get exasperated by this .. luckily the local people here in the town fully understand and will wait until I can think what I want to say.... I suffer dreadfully from panic and anxiety attacks, and am prone to hyperventilate ..... lets just hope I cope with Friday (NB The hospital in question is a distance away) :-) Luv -- Lorraine
