So, now we have had the Friday night Shabbat and Family Dinner; the KID has donethe Bat Mitzvah. This was followed by a sort of brunch at the synagogue and a lovelybrunch/luncheon afterwards. Then there was an evening of snacks and dancing for theteen-agers--all synagogue families and friends in attendance. The kids danced; the adults yacked ("shmoozed"), and everyone ate and ate and ate.Tomorrow with time falling back to standard time (announced at every event), we haveone last family brunch at a favorite Berkeley restaurant, chosen by said KID.Then, heaven only knows how long brunch will last, but I do know that the relatives fromIllinois, New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania have to leave at 3:10 p.m. Sunday!Love to you all, (burp),n, whose stomach, ears and mind are quite full
