Re: Hand cramping when writing?/Ring splints

How many splints does she use for writing and on which fingers and

joints? I only ordered the swan neck for my thumb and a swan neck

for my index finger (joint closest to the finger tip). That was all

I could afford for right now (and that was thanks to a yard sale I

had a couple of weeks ago!) I think the next couple splints I'll get

(if I like these once they arrive) will be for the middle finger of

my right hand and my left thumb. I'm hoping to eventually get them

for the joint closest to the finger tips of all the fingers of my

left hand so I can take up the violin again. I started to learn to

play, but had so much trouble with my finger tips bending backward

that I couldn't get the notes right and I couldn't straighten them

fast enough to move to the next note.
