Guest guest
You can now see where the current and past Gov. , Lt. Gov. , Speaker of the House, and elected Reps. and Senators have been using the EMS Trauma Funds. Simply put it’s been used to balance the budget and not what was dedicated for. We can stay on the same path with the same folks and not get the funding paid from collected DWI fines, etc and NOT taxes , or vote them out next election period and at last we can keep a blind eye as we have. Guest guest
The same thing happened in New Jersey 2 years ago. NJ had a volunteer EMT training fund paid for by a surcharge on all traffic violations. It paid for the basic EMT course, refresher and all ceus's. After $5 million was taken from the fund, it could no longer pay for ceu clases and NJ has gone from a 3 year to 5 year certification period to help compensate for the loss.
