Guest guest
Hi, Folks. I've been doing some experimenting with this muscle cramp/spasm stuff. First of all, I took a long walk and used my cane to do it. What I noticed: I barely (and I mean barely) have to lean on it and still the difference it makes is amazing. No spasms. Without the cane, I couldn't have walked that distance without seizing up. What's that mean?? I've done that 3 times and I also notice which muscles (don't know their names) are sore: groin, butt, and upper quad. Hamstring is okay. Periformis muscle and the psoas (?) muscle are probably the sore ones? Also, I got some homeopathic arnica montanna the other day and have been taking it (sublingually) every hour for the last 3 days. Now is the cane? Or the arnica? Who knows. But I reckon a smart thing to do would be to keep taking long walks using the cane and that way build up that muscle strength again. What do you think? I'm 4 months post-op and haven't used the cane for ages. Hate to haul it out again, but maybe I ought not be stubborn about this and just use the damn thing. Anyone else tried arnica?
