Guest guest
My question of 2 weeks ago may have gotten lost at the end of my response to JRI's Chuck , so I'll post it again. I've heard a comment or two on this board that suggests that the way Blue Cross/Blue Sheild interacts with the BC/BS's of other states may create an opportunity for us denied coverage for surface replacement in our own state.I've got BC of CA through my employer and can't shopt around for another insurance company at this point. " The relevant question then becomes - Can a CA resident like myself get surface replacement surgery in another state who's BC/BS is reimbursing for SR and then get the surgery covered when BC/BS of CA has to payback BC/BS of the other state? Is this a loophole in BC/BS of CA's cost-saving strategy? Has anyone got any experience along these lines? " Many thanks, still looking for a way.... Rick N.
