Maybe your doctor would prescribe Prevacid or equivalent for you to take so thatyou could at least try an NSAID; I could not live without Ibuprofen, and I also take Prevacid.Love and hope,n

My left ear is hurting and the pain goes down the left side of my neck. I tried tylenol and it doesn't begin to touch the pain. My left jaw is also aching. I have a filled prescription of prednisone but I thought I would give it a day at least to see if the pain subsides on it's own.

I have to feel better because tomorrow is my granddaughter, 's, 9th birthday. I will make her a cake for tomorrow and then will make another cake for Saturday when we are having her party. Tomorrow's cake will be simple and from a cake mix. Saturday's cake will a special homemade chocolate cake with homemade frosting. It's an old recipe of mine.

gifts. I've been shopping for bargains for months! This is our family "birthday season". It started in Aug with two grandkids birthdays, then two more grandkid birthdays this month and one next month on the 12th.

I can't take regular NSAIDs either, they are a premeditated murder on my stomach, I use to say. But I have arthrotec ( http://www.arthrotec.com/ ) prescribed for my bad knees (and joints in general). It has been developed for people with arthritis, and that's what I am taking it for, but basically it's just a NSAID with built in stomach protection, it's not really anything arthritis specific about it. So I don't see why a doctor would refuse to prescribe it for any of the other things where he/she would otherwise prescribe some of the other NSAIDs – it doesn't hurt to ask, at least...
