Guest guest
My kids are 'almost 5' and 'almost 2' so a trip to the grocery store can be an adventure. That's why I have to wait until the time is just right to take them camping. (especially since there are so many things that are really hard for me to do now) We'll wait and see what happens. Guest guest
Thanks Bernie. Actually, yes, every once in a while we'll set up a tent in the yard and sleep out there. We live out in the country on a lakefront acreage so the outdoor life just comes natural around here. We've always got wildlife roaming through the yard (and in the garbage!) But I need to actually go on road trips. It's as good for me as it is for them! Before getting married, I never could really stay in one place for too long. I've always been somewhat of a Gypse! Sometimes we just need a change of scenery. Actually, last fall I took the kids (and dog, he goes everywhere with us) and we went and stayed at a hotel in the city for a couple of days! We were supposed to go camping but it turned out to be really cold and rainy. To them it was a great change in pace!
