Guest guest
Liza~~ From my experience.. My experience only mind you. Your splint should not be so restrictive you feel like you need it resized. If you do it probably is not fitting right from the start. Make sure that it is fitting so that you CAN do stuff but it is immobilizing the area that is not supposed to be moving or you are trying to prevent it from dislocating. I have found that depending on the person fitting it and how tense you are when you have it done and if you were particular *skinnied* fingered that day. you might have to have it fit more than once. THE WORST THING is to let it go and keep a splint/brace that is not fitting well. Keep going back, and back and BACK till they get it right! Hope this helps! Debbi Re: Re:Ceda response Do you fingers swell or change size at all? The splints might need resizing? My daughter got hers this week and they fit exactly. My thumb one is a bit restrictive, I find I can't do a lot of my work with it on. Liza
