The font I use is a simple one - Garamond.

as the case may be.

Yes, I'd like a pin too, please! I also have access to a catalog

that sells made-to-order enamel pins (you know, the kind that

organizations make with their logo for tie-tacks or lapel pins). We

could get them to look just like the logo on the CEDA site homepage.

Let me know if you want me to check the prices. If not, I'm fine

with the little round ones you described!

Thanks sooo much!!!! How neat, so it will be buttons?

I think they'll work out just great, seems to me

that these are used a lot many places and they

sure are visible... So do you have a place where

you can get them made locally? So it is easy for

you to do?

PS! I just posted that I have obtained a Memory

Stick for storage of Power Point presentations

that speakers may use... So that can be really

neat together with notes, pictures etc. that we

will be taking. I think we'll be well prepared

for making a conference package afterwards. Maybe

we could even do something fun with it for those

not there, like fun pictures with everybody on,

pictures from social gatherings etc. so that

those not there can see a bit more than the

medical stuff...

Yes Aase. it was just a fluke that the place I am going to place the order

is local. I have camera ready art anyway so it really does not matter where

I have um done. They will be 50 cents (so far no 'hidden' costs but the

order is not in yet LOL! )

I think that the pin will work out fine. We can wear it on our clothes or

it might work to pin it on the corner of the name tag but that we will not

know till we see the name tags.

If they are like the ones the last time I went they were on a ribbon and

went over our head. That is fine but it is sort of low. I will probably

wear mine up high so it can be seen. What I would really like is to have

had it say

I'm a CEDAsister.. And then my CEDA name 'jetskideb' but that will not work

this time. Perhaps next time we can get a bit fancier.

I ordered the So.Cal. EDSer pins on Friday. They are so cute! Little pink

flamingos. There were quite a few of them to choose from but these are very

small and very real looking. I would have liked to have it say So. Cal.

EDSer but since there are so few of us. I settled just for the plain pink

flamingo.

There are LOTS of So. Cal. EDSers but only just a few came to the first

party. I had a theme of Pink Flamingos (don't ask why it just happened) so

the folks that came associate So.Cal. EDSers with Pink Flamingos. I hope it

will stick! They are such majestic animals. sort of EDS like if you know

what I mean. They can curl their leg under their seat, wrap their neck

behind their shoulder blades and tuck under wing all still looking majestic.

Sounds like us don't you think? LOL!

I hope to have another party in a few months and more will be able to come

then. Grow, grow, grow.. That is what I hope for. There is something

special about getting together for pure FUN. different than a " support

group " know what I mean? It ends up being a support group but it is

different.

Oh gosh I am going on and on. I have to go . find a place that can put

wheels on my suitcases.
